Job Description: Major manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic HRM for its 300+ employee, unionized operation located approximately 20 min. south of Detroit, MI. Accessible from Ann Arbor and Toledo, OH. Responsible for managing a complete HR operation. Job scope will include:

  • Management of union contracts including: contract negotiations, administration.

  • Foster company cultural initiatives; be a driver of change.

Job Requirements:

Job Description Summary

Design, implement, and support satcom network solutions for government and commercial customers. Responsibilities include design and implementation of turnkey satcom networks. Most networks will be a combination of satellite and terrestrial circuits, and experience in satellite and terrestrial communications is requirement. The role of this position spans a broad range of activities from pre-sales support to project implementation (antenna assembly, equipment  commissioning, IP router configuration, and ongoing technical support).

Key knowledge and skills:

  • Expert level in designing, implementing, and hands-on activation of end-to-end Satcom and IP networks.
  • Proven experience in managing complex communication services, from a core services perspective (remote terminal configuration, Hub, M&C Systems, Routers, Terrestrial backhaul interface, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of various satellite network system architectures (iDirect, Linkway, Vipersat etc.) and waveforms (SCPC, TDM, F/TDMA, DVB/S2/RCS, Spread Spectrum)
  • Specific experience in implementing complete end-to-end solutions of satcom and terrestrial hardware, communications services, and M&C systems.

  • Good understanding of virtual private network architectures including IPSec, and VPN overlay networks.
